I am a 44-year-old male with symptoms of harsh indigestion, nausea, vomiting, inflammation in the lower abdomen, and frequent belching, especially after eating fatty foods. I also experience minor aches under the right rib cage and right breastbone, and it takes longer for my food to digest. I have had an ultrasound that showed no issues with my gallbladder or other major organs, but I am concerned about whether this could be related to an ulcer or another issue. What could be causing these symptoms, and what tests or treatments should I consider?

I was diagnosed with Addison's disease in 2009 and have been on steroids ever since. If my endocrinologist runs a test called cosyntropin stimulation test, will it give correct results if I am only off the steroid for 1-2 days?

I'm getting ready to travel overseas for work. I had been diagnosed with pneumonia exactly 8 days ago. I finished a 5-day treatment of antibiotics (Levaquin) about 6 days ago. I have some nausea, shortness of breath, and weakness at times. Is it OK for me to travel?

My father had a triple bypass over 17 years ago and a defibrillator fitted 7 years ago. He now has two leaking heart valves and a partially blocked artery. Fluid from his heart is causing breathlessness and fluid accumulation in his lungs and legs. Three weeks ago, the fluid was drained, but he is experiencing symptoms again. Will he need to get the fluid drained every three weeks, or are there medications available to help him feel more comfortable?

I've been getting my period every three weeks for the last two menstrual cycles. I'm on a 28-day birth control pill and have started a ketogenic diet approximately two months ago. Is my early period a result of my diet change? Are there any supplements I could take to correct my short cycle?
