I am a homosexual male who recently tested negative for HIV. I have met a guy who is HIV-positive and claims he is 'fighting' it, with higher T-cells than usual for HIV-infected individuals, and may not need medication to prevent it from developing into AIDS. I have some concerns about the risks of catching HIV through kissing, oral sex, and protected anal sex where he did not ejaculate inside me. Can you provide a second opinion on the risks involved and the possibility of 'fighting' or 'getting rid' of HIV?

I have been unwell on and off for over a year, frequently experiencing colds, flu, and even pneumonia, which has recurred despite treatment. I am a smoker but have recently quit. I am generally healthy, eat well, sleep well, and lead an active lifestyle. I have undergone numerous medical tests, including blood tests, which show no significant issues. Could there be an underlying problem with my immune system, or is it possible for pneumonia to recur after treatment? I live in Spain and have faced language barriers in seeking medical advice.
