My finger is swollen because a sharp item went into my finger skin. It feels numb but there is nothing in my skin. What should I do?

I have a wart on the side of my ankle that's been there for a long time. I saw on a TV program that someone used fingernail polish to remove a wart, and it worked quickly. Should I try that or use a wart remover like Compound W or Dr. Scholl's? The wart is about the size of a green pea and doesn't bother me, but I want to get rid of it. What should I do?

I am a 29-year-old registered nurse experiencing intermittent abdominal pain for over a year, primarily in my left abdominal area but also on the right side at times. The pain radiates to my rib cage, lower left abdomen, and back, and is described as sharp and nagging, sometimes taking my breath away. I also experience nausea after eating, discolored mucousy stool, mild swelling and tenderness in my upper left side, and severe joint pain similar to flu-like symptoms, with random fevers. I have been diagnosed with IBS by multiple doctors, but I am concerned that this may be something more serious, given my mother's history of colon cancer. What could be causing these symptoms, and what further tests or treatments should I consider?

My 7-month-old baby was diagnosed with RSV and has a severe cough/croup that sounds really bad and causes choking. The emergency room saw a spot on his lungs and admitted him, but the clinic I've been taking him to says there's nothing there and didn't test him for RSV. The ER released him, but I'm concerned and don't know what to do next. He's been sick with a high fever for days, and I'm worried about his health and the cost of further treatment.
