I had a bad reaction to Colchicine, taking only half a dose (0.3mg) over a month ago. I am concerned that it may have re-aggravated rhabdomyolysis, which was caused by statins. Could Colchicine do this? I am still recovering.

I had a DVT about 2 years ago. Recently, I cut my ankle while doing yard work, and it didn't heal properly, getting deeper over time. Despite good circulation, I have edema in that ankle and the wound is slow to heal, causing significant pain. What could this be, and what should I do?

I just had a bowel movement where the last part got stuck and I had to probe it out manually. I found stringy things in it, which I pulled out and they were about 4 inches and 1 inch long, light brownish yellow in color. I compared them to photos and they match tapeworm. I have none of the symptoms mentioned, other than abdominal pain, which is diagnosed as gallstones. What do you think this is? Should I take my saved stool to my doctor?

I've been experiencing sharp, periodic chest pain on my left side above my heart. The pain lasts only a few seconds and is not constant but occurs periodically throughout the day. I'm a 24-year-old female, 5'2'' and weigh 206 lbs. My cholesterol was slightly high at 202 during a physical earlier this year. I've started cutting out caffeine and don't eat much meat. The pain doesn't worsen with breathing and isn't affected by pressing on my chest. What could be causing this and is there anything I should do?
