I had sinus surgery in 2002, which led to a pseudomonas infection that required multiple surgeries and treatments. Later, I had a herniated disc surgery in 2006, which also resulted in an infection requiring further treatment. I am now advised to consult an infectious disease doctor before any future surgeries or invasive procedures. My MRI showed a granulomatous process throughout my back. I am concerned about my immune system's health and whether these infections indicate a compromised immune system. Additionally, I want to know how common it is for a healthy person to contract such infections from surgery and if the gram-negative infection could remain dormant in my bloodstream.

I cooked tomato juice and vegetables in a slow cooker and forgot to refrigerate the leftovers overnight. Is the dish still safe to eat, especially considering it contained mushrooms, yellow squash, and onions?

I have a cheese-like substance on my bell end (glans penis). It appears the day after I masturbate, and I clean it afterward, but it keeps coming back. It's not itchy unless left there for a while, and I have foreskin. What could this be?

I have persistent pain in my left shoulder and arm, and occasionally in the muscles above my heart. I believe it's from sleeping poorly and bad posture due to long hours on the computer. I've had an ECG and treadmill stress test two years ago for similar symptoms and was cleared. I am morbidly obese and an occasional smoker. Painkillers don't seem to lessen the discomfort. What could be causing this pain and what can I do about it?
