For four days, I have been experiencing abdominal pain under my belly button, which makes me feel like I need to have a bowel movement. The skin under my belly button is cold, and I feel a lot of gas in my stomach. The pain level is about 5.5/10, with waves of pain coming and going every 60 minutes. The pain intensifies when I laugh or get up from my sofa, and it is close to my groin area. I am a 44-year-old male, 5'9" tall, and weigh 295 pounds. My eating is good, and I have no fever. I previously had a microscopic intestinal leak under my heart area due to eating a large amount of almonds, for which I was prescribed Metronidazole 500mg. What could be causing this pain, and what should I do?
