I have a 10-year-old who is sick with a headache, sore throat, and fever. Her throat is very red. I have been giving her Tylenol (children's) oral suspension, 10 mL because she is about 50-60 lbs, which is small for her age. She is not better yet and I started this yesterday. We can't get out because of the snow and now she wants to go outside to play. I know this is a crazy question, but because she wants to go outside, crying about it, I would like for an answer to give her. She has problems with the word no. Thank you for your help.

I am 77 years old with an enlarged prostate and frequent nighttime urination. After a catheterization procedure, I am now unable to urinate normally and suspect a blockage at the bladder/prostate entrance due to floppy bladder tissue. How can a prostate procedure correct this issue if the problem is not directly related to the prostate?

I was diagnosed with Oral Thrush after taking Prednisone, inhaled oral steroids, birth control pills, and a z-pack. I completed 10 days of Diflucan with a starting dosage of 200 mg followed by 9 days of 100 mg. Despite adding 5 10 mg troche lozenges of Mycelex daily five days ago, my symptoms have not improved. I am avoiding alcohol, sugar, yeast, and caffeine, and I am HIV negative, a non-smoker, and exercise regularly. I drink at least 4 liters of water per day and sleep 6.5 hours per night. Should I continue the Mycelex? How long before I see the symptoms abate? I'm worried because the medication does not appear to be working. I've taken acidophilus supplements daily and brush 3x daily as well. Please advise.

I had my tubes tied on October 10th, along with a cyst removed from my ovary. I started my period on October 13th, but I haven't had a period this month. Is this normal, especially since I was on birth control pills before the surgery?

Additionally, I have been experiencing random chest pains and seeing floaters in my eyes. What should I be concerned about, and what steps should I take?

I have had the Marina coil in for nearly a year now and my periods got lighter and lighter until there was almost nothing, but this month I seem to be having a very heavy period. Is this normal or should I get it checked?
