I have a burning sensation at the top of the left side of my back, which my husband thinks is a shoulder issue. The pain worsens if I move my arm the wrong way or carry my purse on my shoulder. It is happening more frequently recently, and it burns and aches severely. My husband suspects it's a pinched nerve, and it also hurts and burns when I rub it. What could be the cause of this pain, and what can I do to alleviate it?
