I'm 24 years old and have never had irregular menstrual periods. My boyfriend has a history of genital herpes, but I've never shown any symptoms. I have one child and had an abortion three months ago. For the past two months, my menstrual cycle has come twice in one month and usually occurs during sex two weeks after the original cycle. I have no pain, it just comes. Last month, I took a pregnancy test which came back negative. What could be wrong with me?

Can you feel your salivary glands? I have two masses that are symmetrical underneath my jaw, one on the left and one on the right. They are firm but can be moved and are about 2cm in length/diameter. The one on the right is completely painless, while the one on the left gives a general sense of discomfort and slight ear pain (on the same side). Oddly, creating a "vacuum" in my ear temporarily relieves the pain. I was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia after complaining about neck pain and headaches. Could this be related?
