I have been feeling cripplingly tired lately and noticed a low MPV (6.6fL) and a low RDW (11.18%) in my CBC, with a normal platelet count (285). I also had cellulitis after a spider bite, which was treated with antibiotics. Could these blood results be related to my fatigue, or is there another cause?

I have had mouth sores and extreme fatigue for about a month. The sores are on my tongue, the inside of my cheeks, and the inside of my lips. I am tired all the time and it has now gotten so bad that I just want to sleep all the time. I went to my doctor and told him about the mouth sores, and he diagnosed me as having herpes, without even looking in my mouth. I have taken the valtrex he provided for 2 weeks, and it has not helped at all. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do next?

For years, I've seen black spots in my stool, which I initially thought might be blood. However, my doctor found no blood during a recent physical. The spots appear to be chunks of black olives, but I haven't eaten olives in weeks or months. Could they still be olives, and should I see a doctor about a possible digestive problem? I also have Common Variable Immune Deficiency and vitamin deficiencies.

I have recently lost 2 friends to ovarian cancer and am experiencing symptoms such as bloating, constipation, and right-sided abdominal discomfort, which feels bruised when pressed. I had my left ovary removed 11 years ago due to a benign cyst and had a clear ultrasound and endometrial biopsy in March this year. Could I have developed something on my remaining ovary since then?

I'm stationed in Okinawa with the Air Force and have developed laryngitis, which I suspect is due to mold allergies. I'm taking decongestants, wearing a face mask, and have almost lost my voice. I'm 71 years old, had a heavy-duty penicillin shot, and a left shoulder replacement in March. What should I do to manage this condition and should I see a specialist?
