I have been switched from 1.5 mg Xanax to 2.5 mg Ativan, and now my neurologist is switching me from Ativan to Klonopin. He instructed me to stop Ativan cold turkey and start with 0.5 mg Klonopin at noon and 1 mg at night. My previous Ativan dosing schedule was 1 mg in the morning, 0.5 mg in the afternoon, and 1 mg at bedtime. I also take 300 mg Neurontin at bedtime, which I will stop. Should I taper off Ativan before starting Klonopin to avoid withdrawal symptoms, and is the Klonopin dose sufficient to switch from 2.5 mg Ativan without risk of overdose or seizure?

My scalp feels very tight, itches, and burns. I have type 2 diabetes and take metformin, crestor, flaxseed oil, and monoxidil. My scalp has white patches of dust after washing, and my hair is falling out in the middle. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have not had a period since October 7, 2006. I have been on the Depo shot for two years and missed my appointment in December 2006. I have always had a regular cycle. I have taken a pregnancy test at the hospital and it came back negative. Could you give me any advice on whether I should start the pill to regulate my cycle or just wait it out?
