I have had a persistent barking cough for approximately two years. I have been diagnosed with asthma and have tried various treatments, including a nasal spray and anti-heartburn tablets, but none have stopped the cough. I am 65 years old, in relatively good health except for slightly high blood pressure and stress incontinence, which is exacerbated by the cough. What could be causing this chronic cough, and what further steps can I take to address it?

My left arm is larger than my right arm, causing difficulty in finding tops that fit. This problem has been ongoing for some time, and a nurse mentioned it might be lymphedema, which is retention of water in the arm. Could this be the issue, and if so, how can I get rid of the water? Would I need surgery or medication?

If I have symptoms such as a sore throat, coughing, head and chest congestion, and pain in my right armpit, could the latter be related to any gland? I am not running a fever, but have had significant congestion for almost two weeks. My tonsils are still present and are inflamed and mildly swollen. Yesterday, my right armpit became slightly tender, and today it is very tender. It hurts when I breathe or cough, but not when touched. There is no swelling that I can detect.
