How long after my appendectomy should I reasonably expect to continue suffering from stomach cramps (lower stomach) and loss of appetite? I had my appendix taken out late Wednesday night and I still have cramps and am scared to eat because food seems to fuel the cramps. Friends tell me that anesthesia can make your stomach upset for several days after getting 'knocked out'. Please comment.

My husband and I are confused about whether I could be pregnant. My last period was June 3rd, I ovulated June 21-24, and we had intercourse on the 22nd and 24th. My period was two weeks late until yesterday when I started light bleeding, which is unusual for me as I usually have a heavy cycle. I also have light cramping. I took a pregnancy test last night and it was negative. What could be going on?
