I have periodic pain in my left arm, specifically in the mid-bicep area, which comes and goes. This has been occurring for the last couple of weeks and does not seem to extend to other parts of my arm. I have scheduled a check-up, but it's not for another 8 days. My blood pressure is generally stable at around 120/70. I've heard that left arm pain can be a sign of a heart attack, but I don't have chest pain. I will be 49 in two months, I work physically, and I'm generally in good health, not overweight at 6'2" and 205 lbs. Should I try to get in sooner to see a doctor?

I was on Lexapro for 8 months and gained 40 lbs. I was then switched to Wellbutrin to help lose the weight. I started a weight training and cardio regimen, gained 3 lbs., which I believe was muscle, and have since lost it. I've been drinking more water and eating healthier, but can't seem to lose more weight. What can I do to increase my metabolism and start losing weight?
