My mom has little blood in her stool and feels some pressure in the rectal area. She passed stool 3 times yesterday, with only 2 instances of blood. Her stool is thin but normal in color, and she does not have any other symptoms or illnesses. She does not have blood on the toilet paper and feels pressure on the anus after using the bathroom. She is over 50 and does not feel pain when passing stool. Should she get a colonoscopy?

I've had a clogged ear for a week now, following a cold that is almost gone. The clogging is very uncomfortable and affects my ability to speak clearly as I am a public speaker and often on TV. I've been taking Mucinex D but it hasn't helped. Should I go to the ER, and what can I do to alleviate the clogging?
