I'm 37 years old, and my husband had a vasectomy 4 years ago, which has been successful. We do not want children. Last month I lactated slightly and my period arrived after 31 days (I usually have a cycle of 26-27 days). This month, I lactated more, have mild cramps, a mild stitch on my left side, slight spotted brown bleeding 5 days ago, and a touch of red bleeding last night. I'm now at 32 days and no regular flow. I have been stressed, but my breasts are not sensitive, and any mild nausea I feel is likely due to nerves. Could I be pregnant, even though my husband's vasectomy makes it highly unlikely?

A few weeks ago, I went to the emergency room for stomach pains and discovered I have an enlarged kidney (1.2 cm) and traces of blood in my bowel movement. Two other doctors and my personal doctor confirmed these findings. What can I do to assist my doctor in resolving this situation before it becomes a problem?
