I'm 39 years old and have been experiencing severe headaches and a slight fever before my menstruation for the past two years. Recently, after spending four hours wet at a water park during my period, I experienced fever, severe headaches, and dizziness. I've visited doctors multiple times and had a CT scan with negative results. The headaches last for a month until my next period, and I've been experiencing chills and severe headaches before menstruation. Now that my period is over, the headaches and dizziness persist. What could be causing these symptoms?

I have not had a period in the last 2 months. I take 25mg of Amitriptyline in the evening for TMJ and have been taking it for at least a year. Would prolonged use of Amitriptyline cause missed periods, and does the dosage matter?
