My 14-year-old daughter has had severe knee pain since she was 2 years old. The pain has progressed to include her left hip and sometimes her ankles. She now goes to a pain clinic and is on hydrocodone and Mobic. She complains that her knees always feel cold from the inside and has developed numbness over her knees and left hip. Rheumatology and orthopedics have no answers. What could this be and what type of doctor should I take her to?

She has been to a physician, had normal blood work, and was on various medications (lypotor, papavarin, meclazine, amatryplin) which were recently discontinued.
