I recently started feeling like my heart stops when I doze off at night, accompanied by numbness in my right arm and waking up in a panic hitting myself in the chest. This happens several times a night. I am 39 years old, take methadone, Xanax, clonazepam, Seroquel, and Pamelor, and have a history of high blood pressure and panic disorder. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My husband is 65 years old and has multiple health issues including three heart attacks, diabetes, and a recent diagnosis of ulcers and acid reflux.
