I started taking sleeping pills, specifically Ambien, during menopause about 18 years ago. I now find myself taking more than the recommended dose of 10 mg per night, sometimes up to 35 mg, especially when I can't sleep due to inactivity caused by sciatica. I also take 20 mg of Valium at night and 40 mg of Prozac in the morning. I am 74 years old and know I should not be taking these medications in such quantities. How do I safely reduce and eventually stop taking these sleeping pills?

I have a raised silver dollar-sized rash on the back of my upper thigh with a pustule in the center surrounded by small blisters. I used Neosporin for pain, which helped with discomfort but hasn't improved the rash. I'm concerned about the possibility of impetigo and transferring it via my eye drops. Should I see a doctor?

I accidentally used a neti pot solution mixed in a cup that had dried milk residue, and I'm concerned about potential contamination in my nasal cavities. Should I be worried, and what should I do to ensure safety? Additionally, can the flu be transmitted between family members, and when should antibiotics be considered for flu symptoms?
