I started wearing a new brand of contact lenses approximately three months ago and within two weeks began to experience discomfort in both eyes, including soreness, itching, discharge, dryness, and cracking in the corners of both eyes. I have seen my optometrist twice, who initially recommended using allergy drops and washing the contacts with saline solution, and later suggested switching back to my previous brand of contacts. However, the symptoms persist even with the previous brand. What should I do?

I have been experiencing symptoms consistent with multiple sclerosis (MS) for 8 months, but my diagnosis has been inconsistent.
