I was messing around with my boyfriend without any contraception, and his sperm might have gotten near my vagina. I got my period a day early and started taking the contraceptive pill. I've had 4 periods since then and a negative pregnancy test 3 months after the possible conception. However, I've felt ill, fainted for the first time, and put on weight. Could I still be pregnant?

I had a home pregnancy test and a blood test at the doctor's office, both of which were positive, but the doctor said my HCG was low and repeated the test. Is the blood test accurate, and does this mean I am really pregnant, or can I have HCG even if it's not pregnancy?
