I am a 23-year-old female with a small white lesion under the left side of my tongue that has turned reddish. The left side of my throat and ear are painful, and muscle pain radiates from behind my ear down to my neck, shoulder, and bicep. I am a dental hygienist and have acid reflux. Could these symptoms be related, and what should I do?
