My 14-year-old son has been vomiting and had diarrhea for 7 hours now. What liquids/food (if any) should I try to offer him? He doesn't have a fever, but he also has considerable stomach pain, though it might just be hunger due to dry heaves. No one else is ill from the same dinner last night, so I don't suspect food poisoning.

About a year ago, I noticed a bad odor on the back of my neck and shoulder area after showering. I never had this before, and I bathe daily. I wipe the back of my neck with hot water and soap, but the odor usually comes back. What product could get rid of this offensive odor?

I have a friend who's a paraplegic. He believes he contracted E. coli food poisoning after eating a steak, while his children, who also ate the steak, did not get sick. Is it possible that his paraplegia contributed to his susceptibility to food poisoning, and does it usually take longer for symptoms to appear with E. coli?

My 4-month-old son has a rectal temperature of 102.7°F. He is content, nursing well, and has 4-5 wet diapers. He is a little crankier than usual, his nose is slightly stuffed, and he had a greenish stool with mucus. Should I take him to the ER, or is there a way to manage this at home until we have health insurance coverage again?

I experience severe bloating, abdominal pain, pressure on the left side below the rib, shallow breathing, shortness of breath, and back/hip pain a week before my menstrual cycle begins. My stomach decreases in size once my period starts, but the pressure and pain remain, along with new back pain. My circulation feels off, with hands falling asleep quickly and extreme night sweats. I also have occasional quick, painful migraines. What could be causing these symptoms?
