My 29-year-old daughter has had a 3-month dry cough. Her primary care physician (PCP) says her lungs are clear, and she doesn't have asthma. A gastroenterologist suggested Prilosec 2x/day, and the PCP prescribed Allegra. The cough is mostly annoying and hasn't been eliminated. The PCP suggested it might be environmental. Any suggestions?

2 weeks ago, I was cleaning my RV trailer and using a weedeater, which required extending my arms up for long periods and pulling the handle many times. Since then, my upper arms have had a burning pain, particularly where the shoulder and arm meet and right below that area on the outer upper arm. Is this damage, arthritis, or something else?

I have an extremely fast metabolism and consume around 6500 calories a day. I want to know the cause of this if possible and anything I might be able to do about it. My mother had a notably large appetite and her maternal grandfather was very similar to me according to my relatives.

I am scheduled for an appointment with a liver specialist and gastroenterologist, and have a colonoscopy scheduled. I'm 28, female, overweight, and had my gallbladder removed in 2013. My ultrasound and MRCP were normal, but I have elevated liver enzymes and a positive ANA screen. I had blood in my stool about a month ago and have had discomfort similar to the pain I had when I had gallstones. My husband and I have been trying to conceive. What could be going on, and would it be dangerous to get pregnant at this point?

I've been having a dull ache throbbing in my neck, like a pulse that occurs every minute or so. Is this something I should see a doctor about, or could it be something simple like a spasm? It started about 20-30 minutes ago.

I was diagnosed with a yeast infection back in November, and since then, they have been recurring and getting worse. The discharge has become thicker and more paste-like, sometimes appearing yellowish but mostly white and thick. I have vulvar irritation, and my boyfriend also has irritation with red spots but no pain, itching, or burning when he pees. I've been treated with terazol, fem ph, monistat, and diflucan, but the infection keeps coming back. I'm worried it might be something other than a yeast infection. Can yeast infection treatments clear the infection temporarily but then return? Could it be another type of infection, or is it just a resistant strain of yeast?
