My baby boy was born with a cataract, had surgery to remove the lens, and now has glaucoma. Despite using four different eye drops (azopt twice a day, lumigan once a day, pilocarpine 4%, and levobunolol twice a day), the glaucoma is not improving. The doctor suggests another surgery to insert a tube for drainage, but I am concerned about the risks and effectiveness of this surgery. Additionally, I noticed that when I stop using some of the drops, the pressure goes down, and the eye appears larger when using the drops. Is there a different eye drop that could be more suitable, and why does my baby's eye look different now after the cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment?

Blood tests show low gamma globulin. What does that mean? I also have a vitamin B12 deficiency.

I have severe knee pain on the left side, particularly in the back of the knee, which hurts to bend or move. The pain is constant and severe, especially in the morning, and anti-inflammatory pills do not help. I have had an MRI and x-rays, but the doctor did not find anything significant, suggesting it could be tendinitis. However, the pain is so intense that it feels like something more serious is wrong. Can you help pinpoint what else could be causing this pain?

I have a split amorphous tear of the PCL at the distal end, as well as a degenerative tear of the horn of my medial meniscus. It has been 19 weeks since the injury, and I still have another week to wait before arthroscopic surgery. I fell hard on my left knee, which is believed to be the cause of the injuries described. I would like to know what I can expect in terms of surgical repair if I proceed with the arthroscopic surgery. My surgeon has not been as forthcoming as I would like, and I hope to remedy this tomorrow. Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect, and help me decide if I should go with general anesthesia or opt for the spinal block option instead? I understand medical terminology and physiology, having had a complete tearing of my right ACL and its removal in 1988.
