My 14-year-old son, who is on the high school tennis team and in good shape, experienced spots and numbness in his hands during a match, followed by nausea and a headache. The symptoms lasted about 10 minutes. The weather was not overly hot, around 80 degrees. What could be causing these symptoms and what should we do?

I was taught at an early age that it was okay not to bathe, so I went around 24-25 years living this way. I could hear my friends whispering that I needed to take a bath (meaning I was stinking). I have been bathing for the last 33 years and I still leave a tub full of dirt, and people have been nice by making suggestions about trying different soaps to use (meaning I'm still smelling). It's not ichthyosis, it's dirt, and I'm embarrassed by the way I treated my body. I can see the dirt on me no matter how hard I scrub. When I dry myself, the towel is filthy. Is there some kind of bleach, soap, or scrub that I can use to get myself clean?

I've been experiencing pain in my left leg, mainly in my thigh but also sometimes in my knee, for about 12 months. The pain seems to be in my flesh rather than my bone and is affecting my daily life. I can't go out or exercise, and I've put on a lot of weight because of this. The pain is worse when I sit or lie down compared to when I walk. I've tried using Difene, but it doesn't relieve the pain, and I'm always exhausted. I'm 29 years old. What could be causing this pain, and what tests should I consider?
