My brother has been in critical condition since February 6th with multiple skull fractures, a trach tube, and a feeding tube. He opens his eyes when asked to, but the medical team says he has no chance for survival and is not brain dead. The coma is drug-induced, and he becomes agitated when they try to reduce the medication. How can he respond to commands accurately, and yet they want to remove life support?
