I learned in health class that a period might be delayed because of stress, emotions, and irregular sleeping. I usually have my period at the beginning of the month, but it is now the 9th and still no period. Lately, I have been very emotional about things that usually wouldn't bother me, and I stay up late and wake up in the afternoon during summer. I had sex with my boyfriend, and I want to make sure that my delayed period might be a different cause than pregnancy.
