My daughter has a rash that is all over, splotchy, itchy, and comes and goes. She has no real medical issues except for an appendectomy and tonsillectomy. She has been taking Benadryl, which helps with the itching but doesn't make the rash go away completely. She has never had this rash before and has an allergy to ibuprofen. There is no recent fever or cough. What could be causing this rash, and what should I do?
