What can I do to relieve a small swollen vein in my anus?

I am still bleeding after skipping a birth control pill and it is over a week later. I am reading now that I should have taken a double dose the day I realized it. Is this true and is that why I am bleeding? Also, I am due for my period next week. Once I stop taking this batch of pills will I get my period as normal?
