My husband tore his shoulder ligament playing basketball. We live in China and don't have access to reliable medical advice. An MRI showed a 25% tear. He iced it and took ibuprofen for the first few days. It's been 8 days since the injury. Is resting it enough, and should he immobilize it with a sling? Or is surgery likely necessary? He's very active and needs full use of his right shoulder. Can he move/use it now? If he did need surgery, would waiting for 2 months do any permanent damage?

For the last week, I've been waking up due to a severe cough and hacking that prevents me from sleeping. I'm spitting up green, yellow, and white pus, and I also have a runny nose. The symptoms disappear during the day at work but return at night when I lay down. Could this be related to quitting smoking (day 38)?

I have had diarrhea for 14 days, with normal blood work and stool tests. I am very gassy, bloated, and my gas smells bad. I have tried Lomotil, Pepto-Bismol, fiber, and drinking water, but nothing is helping. What should I do next?
