My 17-year-old son had unprotected sex with his 16-year-old girlfriend yesterday. Her parents gave her a pregnancy test today, which was negative. Is it safe to say she's not pregnant, and how long does it take for pregnancy hormones to affect a test?

My 8-month-old son had a frenuloplasty today. His tongue is slightly swollen, and he is not taking his bottle. He had one bottle directly after surgery at 11am, and it's now 8pm. He has eaten some cereal and a little other solid food, and has only had a little urine in his diaper around 6pm. Should we take him back to the hospital?
