My son is 6 1/2 months old with an adjusted age of 3 months (born at 27 weeks). He has had a temperature between 100 and 101.5 for 18 days. He has been to the doctor multiple times, had negative blood and stool cultures, and finished a course of amoxicillin. There is no apparent physical issue, but I am concerned about the prolonged fever and its potential impact on his health. What should I do, and can a prolonged fever cause permanent damage?

How do you know if you have a pelvic DVT? I have a history of PE's and last night, I ran a low-grade fever for awhile, and today, I am having lower back pain in the same area. I am on Xarelto, but I have been laying in bed a lot because I have been sick from my gallbladder.
