Since being put on verapamil 120 mg q.d. by an electrophysiologist (EP), my PVCs are still active. My magnesium has been running low as well (last value 1.4). I've been taking Mag-Ox twice a day, but my heart rate gets irregular when I do. For the past three days, I've had PVCs. I am almost at my wits end. I went by the Cardiology Department this morning and told them and they set me up with another appt. with the EP in a week from now. I just don't know what to do. I can't take HRTs because of my family history of heart disease and strokes. This has been going on since 10/2010, right after my period stopped in August 2010, and I need some answers. I'm wondering if I should get a second opinion from another cardiologist and EP because to me these guys are too laid back about this. Please help. I have an upcoming lab band surgery and the surgeon wil not operate with PVCs going on.
