Since returning from Honduras, I developed bumps that resemble spider bites on my bikini area and armpits, which look like whiteheads. I also experienced pink eye, and my husband had similar bumps on his shin. He responded to antibiotics, but I didn't. My acupuncturist suspects lymphatic parasites (filariasis), a physician's assistant thought it was a bacterial hair follicle infection, and a gynecologist called it bacterial cysts. My immune system is compromised, and I don't want to take the wrong antibiotic. What could be causing these bumps, and what should I do?

My boyfriend noticed small red bumps resembling pimples on the shaft of his penis 2 weeks ago. My 87-year-old mother has been experiencing fainting fits that usually start with feelings of nausea or an upset stomach for a couple of days. The fainting episodes are accompanied by sweating, a desperate urge to evacuate her bowels, and sometimes vomiting. She has a history of Hiatus hernia, Glaucoma, and takes medications including lanzoprazole, xatalan, Prochlorerazine 5mg, and recently started Bisoprolol Fumarate. She has had a 24-hour heart test, a holter monitor, and an ultrasound scan, but no ECG or MRI. What could be causing these symptoms and what further tests should be considered?
