I had a C5-C6 fusion two weeks ago. During the follow-up visit a week later, an X-ray showed a large part of my C5 has detached and is now floating in limbo. Is this common, and what should be done about it? I am experiencing difficulty swallowing and am concerned about long-term issues from the displaced bone fragment and how the bone will heal where the fracture occurred.

I take Yaz for birth control, and my periods are usually normal, but this month, I had an abnormal period with a dried tissue and blood appearance. I had a severe allergic reaction to clindamycin, an antibiotic, and was on a steroid pack for 6 days. Could this affect my period, and is there a significant chance for pregnancy?
