When a baby has a fever, why would the baby stop breathing or lose consciousness?

I had a pyeloplasty on my left kidney about 2 years ago. I have been experiencing severe pain on that side every other month, which leads me to the emergency room. The doctors I have seen attribute the pain to kidney infections, but I never had this issue before the surgery. Could they be missing something?

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy. I just had an orgasm 2 hours ago. Now I'm having dark brown discharge in my urine and some in my underwear. I am having mild cramps. This happened two weeks ago also with the same circumstance. I went to my midwife clinic and all was ok. Is this normal?
