I have red spots on my lips and groin that my doctor suspects might be herpes. I have a history of infections from nail salon visits and eyebrow shaping with razors. My partner is clean and I haven't had any symptoms like fever or sore throat. The spots are not painful, itchy, or burning, but they look like irritation from shaving. I'm waiting for test results. Could these spots be herpes, and if not, what else could they be?
