When I am out in the sun for awhile my arms break out in red blotches and small blisters. This is only on my arms and sometimes the tops of my hands. What can I do so I can swim this summer? This happened years ago when we went to Florida and Texas. I live in KY and never have had this happen here. After being in the sun with sunblock on maybe 1 or 2 hours I start to break out. They itch, burn a little, and pain shoots through sometimes. If I stay in for 1 day or 2 they go away, but I can't stay in the house around the clock. Do you have any ideas?

Last night, I experienced severe pain on one side of my face, possibly from my salivary gland, similar to the pain one might feel from eating a very sour pickle, but I was not eating anything sour. The pain persists when I eat and even when I cry. There is slight swelling and tenderness in the area in front of my ear lobe, which is the parotid salivary gland area. I don't have a fever or pain while chewing. What could be causing this pain, and what can I do until I can see a doctor?
