What would cause me to experience a sudden and severe pain in my abdomen that is excruciating, especially when I try to eat? I am almost 50, and other symptoms include nausea, constipation/diarrhea, and a feeling that my insides are being ripped out. My daughter thinks I have gallstones.

My daughter has been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Endometrial Hyperplasia. She has cysts and tumors in her uterus, heavy vaginal bleeding for several years, and low iron levels. They want to give her depot lupron to induce menopause and stop the bleeding. Is this the right thing to do, and are there other options?
