I have been experiencing pain in my throat and neck for about a week and a half, along with swollen lymph glands in my throat, behind my ears, neck, and under my arms. I also have pain radiating through my collar bone area, a tight chest, frequent headaches, and difficulty swallowing and breathing. My doctor suspects it's just a cold, but I don't have other cold symptoms. Should I go to the hospital for further evaluation?

I just had a thyroid test completed last week and the nurse called me back yesterday with the results: My T4 was 1.11 and the normal range is 0.8 - 1.8, and my TSH was 16.39 with a normal range of 0.4 - 5.5. What does this mean? Is this hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism? I started taking Synthroid almost 5 years ago, with slight adjustments over the years but none in the last 2 years. I also take Tamoxifen for breast cancer. I have gained almost 40 lbs in the past 2+ years despite dieting, have very dry skin, feel tired a lot, and have very heavy menstrual periods.

I am experiencing thick and clumpy vaginal discharge, which I believe is a yeast infection. I was prescribed Diflucan, but after over 24 hours, the discharge has become milky and loose like water. Is this a sign that the Diflucan is working, or should I make an appointment to have this checked out?
