Why would my temperature be low? It is between 94.6 and 96.9. I am a type 2 diabetic, on thyroid medication, diabetic medication, blood pressure medication, and cholesterol medication. I just got over malaria that I got from being in Uganda, Africa. I did take mefloquine while on this trip. I had a fever during the malaria then when it went down is when I noticed that my temp was so low. It has been 3 weeks now and I have checked it off and on during the day. I am still not feeling myself and am very tired. Could the low temp be from the malaria?

I have had severe diarrhea for the last 4 days, with bowel movements occurring at least 7+ times a day. There is no pain, but a restless feeling in my bowels. I'm afraid to venture too far from a bathroom. How can I stop the diarrhea? I've been using a home remedy of boiling rice until the water turns milky and drinking it, but it hasn't worked this time. I've lost a few pounds during these last few days.

For about 6 months, I have had burning in my lower right leg/foot. I have had nerve conduction studies (showing tarsal tunnel), an MRI of my back (negative), and I am non-diabetic. The foot & ankle specialist doesn't think it is tarsal tunnel due to my symptoms. He gave me Neurontin to try, but it doesn't help. I'm taking 100 mg tid. Where should I turn now for answers?
