A bank has a lien on our personal property due to a personal guarantee signed by my husband for a business line of credit. The business closed, leaving a debt of $42,000 to the bank. We are in Wisconsin. Is there a statute of limitations on the bank's claim, and can the bank force a foreclosure action on our personal property to collect the lien? Additionally, there is an IRS lien due to payroll tax debt, and we have a payment contract with the IRS. Can the IRS force a sale by foreclosure even though we have a payment contract, and what happens to both liens after the statute of limitations is up?

As a landlord, I signed a lease with a tenant who provided false information about her current landlord and employment status. After discovering the deception, I returned her deposit and pet deposit but kept one month's rent. She has since left, but claims she is entitled to all her money back. What are my rights and options in this situation?

I made a purchase using a lease-to-own company called Acceptance Now, based on incorrect information provided by the salesperson. Now, the company is threatening to take back the merchandise and keep my money. I have made payments that cover the purchase amount, but they claim I am in a 24-month lease and still owe 17 more payments. I need to know my legal options and how to proceed to prevent them from taking my furniture and to recover my money.

Is it legal to carry a rifle or shotgun while hiking on my 115 wooded acres property in Chestertown, NY, without purchasing an out-of-state hunting license? I live in New Jersey and do not want to hike without a firearm due to the presence of bears.

Under The Hague Service Convention, if a summons is served to a person in a foreign country via certified mail and the recipient refuses to sign the acknowledgement form, will the Proof of Service plus the certified mail receipt be sufficient for delivery of the summons? Additionally, would an email or text message from the recipient acknowledging receipt of the summons be considered a valid proof of service?

What are the laws regarding people bringing alcohol into a pool area at a resort with an open bar where alcohol can be purchased, especially given signs stating it is against Florida state statutes to bring alcohol in as long as the bar is open?
