A girl I had drinks with passed out after I took her back to her house, but I left right after she fell asleep. Definitely no sex. She thought that since she had passed out that I put something in her drink and possibly had sex with her. She reported to the police the next day, and the detective called me today asking what events had occurred. He then asked if I could come in for a DNA sample to close the case. What should I do? I am not worried about a match, but stranger things have happened.

I need to file for injunctive relief immediately due to a tenant-landlord issue where I, the tenant, have received a 60-day notice to quit in retaliation for asserting my rights, contacting health departments, and ombudsmen, and facing harassment and false allegations from the landlord. What legal actions can I take, and what are my rights in this situation?

I am applying for jobs as a Personal/Executive assistant through an agency, and I am concerned about a recent psychiatric hospitalization for depression that occurred during my divorce. Does a background check ever involve checking medical records, and could this information be a problem if disclosed?

I am involved in a breach of residential lease case where I was charged liquidated damages of almost $900 on $300 worth of actual damages. I lost in JP court and was required to post an appeal bond of double the judgment amount, which was almost $2,400. The judge rejected my inability to pay and I had to come up with the money. Now, the opposing party is trying to get the case tossed from County court for lack of jurisdiction on appeal, claiming the appeal bond should have included attorney fees, making it almost $8,000. I am trying to get the bond amount decreased based on several legal arguments. Are these arguments correct, and do they have a strong legal basis?
