A guest stayed at our hotel for more than 30 nights and left without paying for the room, amounting to $1223.00. We gave them an eviction notice as advised by the town hall, but they left before the eviction day without paying. What should we do under New Hampshire law?

I have given my lawyer half of the total cost for our case, which is just for standard visitation, and I haven't been able to get ahold of my lawyer or the assistant in over three weeks. I have already paid $1750 and no response. What steps should I take to address this lack of communication and potentially consider finding a new attorney?

My bank is refusing to honor cashier's checks I purchased from them years ago. I am located in NV. I initially informed them that I had found the three checks totaling $30K and wrote a letter to which they replied with a feeble response stating that they found my stop payment request but could not find where they replaced them. What steps can I take to resolve this issue?

If I have an LLC in Colorado with no operating agreement and no defined property, can I start a new LLC and assign a product as its property, even if one of the other LLC members assumes it belongs to the current LLC?

I think I’m being scammed through a blackmail attempt where they are using the law as a cover to make me pay, even though I didn’t actually do anything wrong. I was on an online dating website and matched with a female who initially claimed to be 18 but later said she was 15. After a nude picture was sent, I asked her to stop, and the next morning, her 'father' contacted me demanding payment to avoid prosecution. They even had a 'lawyer' claiming I had to pay taxes to ICE to prevent legal action. Is this a scam, and if I stop paying, can I actually fall under any legal obligation?

I am a tenant in California who signed a stipulation for eviction, agreeing to vacate by April 1. I am still in the unit, and the landlord is threatening a lockout. After the plaintiff obtains the writ of possession and sends the sheriff, do I have 5 days before they can remove me, or can they remove me immediately?
