A moving company is holding my belongings hostage. They upcharged us triple the amount quoted by Nationwide, delivered only half of our items broken, and now refuse to deliver the rest, stating they can't fit them in our driveway. They also changed the terms from 30 days to 30 business days for breach of contract. Additionally, they tripled the estimated quote and Nationwide refuses to acknowledge their mistake. My husband is on a kidney-pancreas waitlist and is disabled, and I'm 16 weeks pregnant. What legal steps can I take to resolve this issue and get my belongings back?
