A person was pulled over for a DUI due to driving impairment caused by a migraine, exacerbated by Ambien. The blood draw was refused due to fear of needles, but a warrant was issued for the draw. The tox report indicated a 10mg Ambien, which was disclosed to the officer. The driver's license hearing is this week, and the DUI court date is next month. What charge can be pleaded down to that will allow the driver to keep their CDL?

To keep your CDL, you would need to plead down to a charge other than an alcohol or impaired driving...

I placed my child in a county school where we do not reside. I received a letter stating my child will be removed from the school by 5/11 and may be charged tuition of approximately $11,000 for the school year. I am trying to avoid paying the fine. What should I do?

What are the good ways to collect money from people who you can't sue easily (out of town)? They owe you money because they charged for service but broke the contract or didn't fulfill the work fully (scam). Are there companies to hire to help you out?

Can a contempt of court charge be dropped if the party charged makes compensation before the court date? Can the other party's attorney drop the charge against the defendant?

I am a contractor (GC) using subcontractors in the state of Pennsylvania. A local township is requiring a written contract between GC and Sub before they will approve permits. I have never, in 20 years, been required to adhere to something like this. Is this legal? I requested a written code or ordinance but none has been provided.
