A relative has been neglected and abused in a nursing home, and the family wants to transfer her to a different one closer to home. They were told the new nursing home doesn't work with the contract she is covered by and were advised to change the contract. They are unsure where to start and need guidance on how to proceed with the transfer, especially since she has Medicaid/Medicare.

We bought a 2017 Kia Sorrento for $28,000 but were financed for $32,000 without realizing it. The car has a recurring issue where it slows down and then surges after stopping, which the dealership service cannot duplicate. We want to return the car but were told it's not a lemon law issue and that we would have to pay for storage if we don't pick it up. We also bought another car before resolving the issue with the first one. What should we do?

The court system in Georgia incorrectly reported garnishment information to credit bureaus, causing me to have debt on my credit report and affecting my ability to get credit cards, loans, and higher interest rates. Can I sue the court system for this error?

After receiving a 'Warrant in Debt' from a credit card company, my relative cannot pay it and doesn't know what to do. She doesn't have anything in her name except a joint bank account. Can this company take any funds from this joint account to cover the debt? What should she do if she chooses to go to court, and where should she pay the money if she decides to settle the debt?

USAA issued a Visa to me, and I had perfect credit for 4 years. Then, without notice or reason, they cancelled the account. Now that I'm locked out of my account I have no idea how to know when my payments are due and how much the payments are. Every time I call USAA I get a sarcastic representative who, seemingly, pulls numbers out of thin air. I've spoken to 7 USAA agents, all of whom give me a variant due date and amount. It is impossible to engage in business with USAA since I have no documents, no access to their website and no snail-mail. They have now destroyed my credit by placing a 30 and 60 day late notice on my account. What would be the appropriate "next step" I should take?

I bought a car from Craigslist in Maryland, and the seller misrepresented its condition through written text messages, stating it had no issues when it actually needed extensive repairs costing $3,000. The seller is offering only $500 towards repairs or a full refund with car return, neither of which is acceptable. How can I claim the full repair costs, and what legal steps should I take in Maryland?
