How long does a Utah nursing home have to provide medical records to a Power of Attorney (POA)? I am the POA and daughter of my mother who was on hospice at a memory care facility for less than 4 days. I requested the records by fax on April 3, followed up several times, and even offered to pick them up in person during a visit to Utah. However, I was just told that I need to go through their legal department to get the records, which is a new policy they mentioned for the first time.
